Prosecutors association of Serbia is a guild type, non government organization, with a goal of affirmation and patronage of prosecutor’s position and reputation, gaining full legal stability, autonomy and public prosecutor’s independence. Prosecutor association of Serbia encloses both prosecutors and deputy prosecutors of Serbia.

Prosecutor Association of Serbia is publishing it's organ named "Tužilačka reč". Main intention is to acquaint it's members with all the activities and future plans of UTS.

Publishing of this newspaper created ambience for dialogue and analyzing expert issues of judicial system and prosecutor's position.

Notes from the Conference

Conference was opened by the President of the Prosecutors Association and President of the Judges Association. After organizers participants of the conference were welcomed by the Legal Advisor of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Head of EU Delegation, French Ambassador, Head of the OSCE Mission, Representative of the Konrad Adenauer and Representative of the IRZ.

All speakers from the international community expressed concerns for the future reform of judiciary and fight against corruption. Will of the Government is the crucial for the efficient suppression of corruption.

Ms. Simone Gaboriau and Mr. Hans Ernst Boettcher presented their assessment on the process of the reform of judiciary in Serbia. Namely, Ms. Gaboriau and Mr. Boettcher were in Serbia in April 2012 on the evaluation mission and had meetings with all relevant stakeholders in the area of judiciary.
